KWP Kümmel, Wiedmann + Partner Unternehmensberatung GmbH has taken over 70% of the Magnisol Deutschland GmbH. Enlarged presence in Germany. A shared Service Center for a world-wide operating railway transportation industry group serves as starting point for Business Process Outsourcing. Global Magnisol Group strengthens service offers for international Human Capital Management projects and services. Its market share in Germany amounts up to more or less 17% according to its own estimations. Talheim 17.Augst 2007 – KWP is enlarging its SAP Human Capital Management activities (HCM). The KWP Kümmel, Wiedmann + Partner Unternehmensberatung GmbH, Talheim has taken over 70 % of the Magnisol Deutschland GmbH, Hamburg in the middle of August. Similar to KWP Magnisol Deutschland is specialized in SAP HCM and currently employs 12 people. The board of management of Magnisol Deutschland, which consists of Thomas Scharsack and Nikolai Hartmann, remains unchanged. Before the access of KWP the two managing directors and partners hold half one each of the company shares. After the access of KWP Thomas Scharsack and Nikolai Hartmann hold 15 % either one of them of the shares of the company as minority partners.
KWP with its 700 existing clients is among the leading SAP HCM consulting companies in Germany and occupies according to its own estimations a market share of 17 %. Under these circumstances the majority investment in Magnisol Deutschland mainly serves, according to the two KWP managing partners Hartmut Kümmel and Joachim Volpert, for the “enlargement of the local presence, the development of HCM Business Process Outsourcing Services as well as the strengthening of the service offers for internationally oriented clients”. The business location of Magnisol in Hamburg and the opening of an additional KWP office in Berlin are important steps for the broadening of the customer base in these strong business regions.
Magnisol Deutschland has made SAP HCM projects in companies like Vattenfall Europe Information Services, Blohm & Voss, Edding AG, RWE Umwelt AG, Schering AG or Kraft-Foods and also runs with the wholly owned subsidiary hcc professional services GmbH Hamburg a multi-lingual shared service center for the HCM needs of a world-wide operation railway transportation industry concern.“ Thomas Scharsack and Nikolai Hartmann state, that “this competence provides us with the great opportunity to offer with KWP more shared service center services and business process outsourcing for SAP HCM national and international”. Market observers predict great growth prospects with such business activities.
Magnisol Deutschland also has 11% of the shares of the Irish Magnisol Ltd, Dublin. This company is leading a world wide group of SAP HCM consulting companies from France, Denmark, Great Britain, the USA and South Africa. These firms take center positions in its market places and help each other with the support of international clients.
